My photographic work centres on:

arts and artists, including

• musicians and performing artists, whether on-stage or in rehearsal
• events
• community projects
• an expressive and often abstract approach to buildings

I aim to create impactful images that meet the client's needs.

Images of people are mostly shot in an informal, documentary style, observing them in action and interaction.

I've enjoyed working with a leading promoter of chamber music, Music in the Round, and its resident musicians, Ensemble 360.  Although many photographers work with other music genres, chamber music photography is relatively neglected.

Other music projects include developing collaborations with Sheffield City Hall's International Concert Season and Sheffield Jazz.
